Manual Addition Valve (MAV) with diluent switch block for rebreathers.
Designed to provide the primary gas distribution junction for diluent side supplies, with diver selectable diluent via a ball valve. From this junction, full control of diluent peripherals are in one convenient location and all supplied by a single diluent gas to avoid confusion.
Features
- All ports are 9/16-18 female and supplied with bushings to adapt to 3/8-24 female.
- Buttons are BC-style cartridges and supplied from their seated direction. Spring failure will 'close' the MAV (no 'open' leak).
- Allows shut-offs for peripherals to be positioned in one location.
- Ball valve terminates in 1/4 not female for a variety of inlet fittings. Suggested configuration is to hard plumb onboard air, and QD offboard mix.
