RD1 - mod 1 Oxygen Distribution Assembly

This oxygen side assembly can be fit to the RD1 rebreather as part of a mCCR conversion. As pictured, a precision needle valve is used to meter oxygen into the unit, with a manual bypass. The MAV is supplied to fail ‘closed’, mitigating leakage risks of conventional valves.

The pictured configuration is only one of multiple options to build out a CCR from the RD1 platform. You should consult with your rebreather instructor as to the assembly most appropriate for your diving requirements and as is consistent with local best practices.
