Rebreather Day 1 (RD1) is a system and method for rebreather diving which includes an open architecture ideally suited for developers and early career adoption. It is offered as a 'kit' which allows a very easy build-out for those already RB-savvy.
Our recommendation is to first configure the unit as a simple oxygen only unit which is depth limited to 20 feet/6 meters depth. Once proficiency is attained, the open architecture allows for easy customization to SCR, CCR, and other integrated systems.
This kit system includes the following:
DSV w/120 degree adapters & MRS
ADV and OPV t-pieces
2.5 kg scrubber canister w/elbows
'Spine' piece with cam-band, studs, and hardware
You must supply (for O2 use):
cylinders and valves
Note: we can supply the above components to complete the unit, however, only offer completely assembled systems with training. Consult with your qualified instructor on recommendations and guidance.
The Rebreather Day 1 system has undergone >1000 hours of field testing and numerous units are in active service. Units are maintained in inventory for training, technical demonstrations, and immediate delivery.
We are actively engaging strategic partners including instructors, resellers, and regional distributors. Contact us to discuss opportunities.
A signed waiver/release is required for purchase.
Training is required at time of delivery of complete/dive-ready units.
Kit systems and components may be supplied to qualified divers.
