IMPORTANT: This kit system is intended for terrestrial (non-diving use). Variants have been used for confined space interventions and scientific exercises to eliminate aerosolized particles.
The 'Rebreather Day 1' (RD1) 'kit' provides open-architecture components to allow a very easy build-out for those already RB-savvy.
Our recommendation is to first configure the unit as a simple oxygen only system. Once proficiency is attained, the open architecture allows for easy customization.
This kit system includes the following:
- DSV w/oronasal mask or MRS
- breathing hoses
- ADV and straight t-pieces
- counterlungs w/toggle dump OPV
- 1.5 kg scrubber canister w/elbows
- chassis hardware with cummerbund
- cylinder and valve
- regulator
- hoses/gauges
Note: Completely assembled systems are only supplied with training. Consult with your qualified instructor for recommendations and guidance.
The Rebreather Day 1 system has undergone >1000 hours of field testing and numerous units are in active service. Units are maintained in inventory for training, technical demonstrations, and immediate delivery.
